Based in Uptown but serving youth citywide, Alternatives, Inc. works with approximately 4,000 youth and families every year. Key programs include clinical mental/behavioral health services, crisis intervention, substance abuse counseling and prevention programs, career and employment programs, urban arts, restorative justice, gender-specific programming for girls, and technology programs.
Since 1971, Alternatives has provided essential, innovative and high-quality programs for Chicago’s youth and families. We are proud to support their mission, and we invite you to our Oct. 18 FLIP the HOUSE panel to listen to their representatives speak.
This organization not only supports youth driven change, community well-being, and accessible programming, but it is leading the way in creating change agents in Chicago. We are so happy to have them as our guests and we hope to see you there!
